The Last Song I’m Wasting On You

The Last Song I’m Wasting On You by Evanescence. This song doesn’t have many lyrics, but she sings them slowly, with a lot of holds, and pauses, so it makes the time quiet long. I still can’t believe This Doesn’t Get Any Better Then This is a long name. I love Evanescence’s songs. They’re really good. There hasn’t been one I don’t like.

Sparkling grey,
They’re my own veins.
Any more than a whisper,
Any sudden movement of my heart.
And I know, I know I’ll have to watch them pass away

Just get through this day

Give up your way, you could be anything,
Give up my way, and lose myself, not today
That’s too much guilt to pay

Sickened in the sun
You dare tell me you love me
But you held me down and screamed you wanted me to die
Honey you know, you know I’d never hurt you that way

You’re just so pretty in your pain

Give up my way, and I could be anything
I’ll make my own way
Without your senseless hate… hate… hate… hate.

So run, run, run
And hate me, if it feels good.
I can’t hear your screams anymore

You lied to me
But I’m older now
And I’m not buying baby

Demanding my response
Don’t bother breaking the door down
I found my way out

And you’ll never hurt me again.

It Doesn’t Get Any Better Then This

It Doesn’t Get Any Better Then This by Katy Fitzgerald. (I couldn’t find a video with the song. I looked EVERYWHERE.) Wow. I’ve had this song, as well, for awhile. But I’ve never known who sings it. It was a song my mom had on a mix CD, or one of those where various artists make a song for it, or something. But I never paid any attention to who sung it. So now, I know. Weird last name. Haha. I like this one. But I think the title is a little long. Probably the longest song title every. Though, maybe The Last Song I’m Wasting On You is longer…

It Doesn’t Get Any Better Then This
The Last Song I’m Wasting On You

No, darn. This one beats it by just two letter spaces. Haha.

I feel like I’m flyin’,
I wont touch the ground.
I spin it- sorry now
I turn it around
I turn it around
I turn it a-round!

It doesn’t get better than this
I’ve waited all my life
To just be like this
There is nothing that I wanna miss
Cuz it doesn’t get-
No it doesn’t get-
No it doesn’t get better than this..

Fall
Ooh this was worth it
As I landed with grace
And I, needed to find my way
To get to the place, to get to the place-
Now I can’t say!

It doesn’t get better than this
I’ve waited all my life
To just be like this!
There is nothing that I wanna miss
Cuz it doesn’t get-
No it doesn’t get-
No it doesn’t get better than.. this..

Better than thi-eh ya eh ya this!

Nothing’s free
Without the sorrow
You’re staying
Go tomorrow
Breaking down
Just Think about today!

I’ve waited all my life, to be-e yeah!
Better than this
It doesn’t get, no, no!
Better than this!

Cuz it doesn’t get
No it doesn’t get
No doesn’t get, better than thi-thi-this yeah yeah!

Doesn’t get
It doesn’t get
No it doesn’t get
Better than th-i-s

Better than this

No it doesn’t get any better
Better than this!

Taking Chances

Taking Chances by Celine Dion. Another song I’ve had for awhile, but haven’t listened to in awhile. I found out, Celine Dion is Canadian, I didn’t know that. I thought she was European. I don’t know why. I just always thought she was. I like this song. I heard this first, on a show. But I couldn’t remember any of the lyrics once it was over, so I was never able to look it up. Well, I heard the song again, on the same show, that was a repeat, and I was finally able to get the song. I couldn’t get it if I didn’t know the name. And Anything I guessed at first, was wrong. So, this one was a pain to find.

P.S. After writing this, I remembered that the show was Moonlight. <–really good show, by the way.

Don't know much about your life.
Don't know much about your world, but
Don't want to be alone tonight,
On this planet they call earth.

You don't know about my past, and
I don't have a future figured out.
And maybe this is going too fast.
And maybe it's not meant to last,

But what do you say to taking chances,
What do you say to jumping off the edge?
Never knowing if there's solid ground below
Or hand to hold, or hell to pay,
What do you say,
What do you say?

I just want to start again,
And maybe you could show me how to try,
And maybe you could take me in,
Somewhere underneath your skin?

What do you say to taking chances,
What do you say to jumping off the edge?

Never knowing if there's solid ground below
Or hand to hold, or hell to pay,
What do you say,
What do you say?

And I had my heart beaten down,
But I always come back for more, yeah.
There's nothing like love to pull you up,
When you're laying down on the floor there.
So talk to me, talk to me,
Like lovers do.
Yeah walk with me, walk with me,
Like lovers do,
Like lovers do.

What do you say to taking chances,
What do you say to jumping off the edge?
Never knowing if there's solid ground below
Or hand to hold, or hell to pay,
What do you say,
What do you say?

Don't know much about your life
And I don't know much about your world

Change

Change by Taylor Swift. I found the music video for this one. Maybe it’s just my speakers, but the volume seems kinda low on it. Then again, maybe it was just the way it was up loaded. I’ve had this song for awhile, but I haven’t listened to it for awhile, but I was going through a lot of old songs I have and was just listening to this one. It was made for the Olympics. At least that’s what I think, since it shows that stuff in the video.

And it’s a sad picture, the final blow hits you
Somebody else gets what you wanted again and
You know it’s all the same, another time and place
Repeating history and you’re getting sick of it
But I believe in whatever you do
And I’ll do anything to see it through

Because these things will change
Can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
This revolution, the time will come
For us to finally win
And we’ll sing hallelujah, we’ll sing hallelujah

So we’ve been outnumbered
Raided and now cornered
It’s hard to fight when the fight ain’t fair
We’re getting stronger now
Find things they never found
They might be bigger
But we’re faster and never scared
You can walk away, say we don’t need this
But there’s something in your eyes
Says we can beat this

Because these things will change
Can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
This revolution, the time will come
For us to finally win
And we’ll sing hallelujah, well sing hallelujah

Tonight we stand, get off our knees
Fight for what we’ve worked for all these years
And the battle was long, it’s the fight of our lives
But we’ll stand up champions tonight

It was the night things changed
Can you see it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back fell down
It’s a revolution, throw your hands up
Cause we never gave in
And we sang hallelujah, we sang hallelujah
Hallelujah

Pretty Neat

Neat

Well, I saw this picture and thought it was pretty neat. I have a puzzle that looks almost exactly the same, cept it doesn’t have any people in it. And my puzzle actually glows in the dark. Haha.

Parade

Parade by CHABA. This was another Naruto opening. One of the few that I like the whole version better then the minute and half version. I don’t usually like songs in Japanese that are sung by boys. I don’t know why. I just don’t think they sound as good. But I like CHABA. They’re good, and their singer is a boy.

Kaze ga fuite itai kienai omoi

The wind blows and it hurts, my love won’t go away
What should I take with me? There’s only one
It’ll never come again, never come again, it’d be stupid to throw it away
That innocent image
Surely won’t end…

Set your heart in love on fire, cross through a thousand dreams
Run right and left, through the world you hold in your hand
The clouds scatter and the sun goes down again
And the one-person parade begins to move
An adventure, a lucky day, heartbeat rising, light and darkness, an encounter, life, mutual love

If you say something, the words make me
Smell your hair, inhale it, and cuddle up closer
I don’t know, I don’t know, I won’t know just from appearance
So I want, I want to get deeper
It’s like a dream…

Set your heart in love on fire, cross through a thousand dreams
Run right and left, through the miracle of meeting
The clouds scatter and the sun goes down again
And two parades melt into the night sky

There’s a night everyone’s waiting for, deep in their pockets
I hope you’ve found someone who lights you up, swims to you when you hold out your arms
With the same scenery as you

Set your heart in love on fire, cross through a thousand dreams
Run right and left, through the world you hold in your hand
The clouds scatter and the sun goes down again
This incomplete parade moves everywhere
Mikansei no pareedo de doko made mo
An adventure, a lucky day, heartbeat rising, light and darkness, an encounter, life, mutual love…

Sears Tower in Chicago

My Grandma sent me this.

VERTIGOOOOOOOOO

1

If you’re scared of heights, it may be time to look away now.
Not content with having the tallest building in America, the owners of Sears Tower in Chicago have installed four glass box viewing platforms which stick out of the building 103 floors up.
The balconies are suspended 1,353 feet in the air and jut out four feet from the building’s Skydeck.

2

Floating on air: Visitors get their first view from The Ledge…. four glass balconies suspended from the 103rd floor of Chicago’s Sears Tower.

3

Designers say the platforms – collectively dubbed The Ledge – have been purposely designed to make visitors feel as if they are floating above the city.
The reward is an unobstructed views of Chicago from the building’s west side and a heart-stopping vista of the street and Chicago River below – for those brave enough to look straight down.
‘It’s like walking in space,’ visitor Margaret Kemp, from California said. ‘The first step you take you think “Am I going down?”‘

4

Long way up: Even the floor of the platforms are glass – few were
brave enough to look straight down.

Fearless: Anna Kane, age five, spreads out on the floor of the 10ft square box which is 1,353ft up.
Spectacular: She also enjoyed amazing views out across the city

Unfazed: Although some adults felt dizzy after experiencing the Ledge, children seemed to take it in their stride.

5

‘At first I was kind of afraid but I got used to it,’ 10-year-old Adam
Kane from Alton, Illinois, said as clouds drifted by below.
‘Look at all those tiny things that are usually huge.’

John Huston, one of the owners of the Sears Tower, even admitted to getting ‘a little uneasy’ the first time he ventured out on to the balcony. However, after 30 or 40 trips, he seems to have got used to it.

6

Thrill seekers: The boxes jut out four feet from the building and were specifically designed to make visitors feel as if they are floating.

The Sears Tower has always been about superlatives – tallest,
largest, most iconic,’ he said. ‘The Ledge is the world’s most awesome view, the world’s most precipitous view, the view with the most wow in the world.’
The balconies are 10ft high and 10ft wide, can hold five tons, and
have glass which is 1.5 inch thick..

Inspiration came from the hundreds of forehead prints visitors left behind on Skydeck windows every week. Now, staff will have a new glass surface to clean: floors.
Architect Ross Wimer said: ‘We did studies that showed a
four-foot-deep (1.2 metres) enclosure makes you feel like you’re floating since there’s only room for one row of people, not two.’
The skydeck attracts 25,000 visitors on clear days. They each pay $15 to take an elevator ride up to the 103rd floor of the 110-story office building that opened in 1973.

I love heights, and after seeing this, I would just LOVE to stand in that box!

New Moon Parody

I saw New Moon today. I liked this one much more then the first. Werewolf action! CHA! I love werewolves, I wish they were real. Hehe. Well, there was a lot about it that I continued to compare to the book. I think I annoyed mom, because I kept leaning over and whispering to her every time they did something wrong, or something they messed up. I do that with everything. Movies, commercials, you name it, I mock it. I just try and turn what they have said, into something more logical. And it works, because most of the time, the stuff I am mocking is crap anyways.

I really liked the movie because of all the Wolf action. More so when Robert/Edward disappeared through most of the movie. But as soon as he came back it, movie sucked again. He is just a horrible actor. And, very, very, very, very, very, creepy. And, to old. You can just tell in the ending, how old he really is. Way to old to play seventeen. Even when he was suppose to be distressed and in pain and so on, he still looked way to old, even for that.

Kristan Stewart was less spazzy in this movie. I think it helped that she was out of school, and she wasn’t a minor anymore. So her hours weren’t stressed and she wasn’t rushed.

Taylor, however you spell is last name. I have no idea. I can’t even pronounce it. He did very well as Jacob. He wasn’t spazzy, and he’s younger then Kristan Stewart, and he had to do a lot of action like scenes. AND HE WASN’T SPAZZY! Kristen just sucks. Her and Robert make for horrible Edward and Bella. If only Johnny Depp was twenty years younger. He’d be a PERFECT Edward. (think I’ve already said that, but I don’t care. It’s true.) *sigh*

Robert, can’t spell his last name either. Sucked. Well, I’ve already said that. But he hesitates to much. It’s like he forgets his line, and pauses, and no one even bothers to fix that, or tell him not to. And, he’s to old. And, he was spazzy through the film. He took Kirsten’s spazzyness! GIVE IT BACK! Hehe.

But, I loved the movie. The moment, they began the Werewolf action, I loved the movie! It made up for all it’s other flaws.

Something funny actually happened while we were watching. It was at the part were Bella goes into the house, after seeing the Cullen’s car. But doesn’t know which it is. Jacob is worried and is afraid they will hurt her, so naturally, he’s angry when she goes in. And, here’s where the funny thing happened. A girl a few seats behind me, whispered, rather loudly, might I add, ‘She is so stupid!!!’. She really needs to learn, that whispering only works with ONE exclamation, and you don’t squeal when you say it! Well, we pretty much know she hasn’t read the book. Either that, she hadn’t seen the first movie. Because she would have then known, that it wasn’t a bad thing and she wasn’t going to be in danger. Gosh.

These people are so stupid. *sigh*

NaNo E-Mail Twenty

Hey there!

Can you stare into space and imagine worlds that don’t exist?

Do you get into arguments with the characters in your head?

Do you keep a notebook with you all the time because sometimes you get these amazing ideas that you have to write down because if you forget them there is a very good chance the sun will explode and all life on Earth will cease to exist?

Yeah, I thought so.

You are a writer.

That’s the good news. The bad news?

You are a writer.

You are not a magician. Or a wizard. Or an author who had published twenty million books (yet).

You were born with the seeds of your talent, the ability to observe the world around you and weave piece of it into a story. I believe that most —if not all —people are born with these seeds. What separates the writers from the non-writers is that the writers actually sit down and … you know … write.

It sounds simple. We both know it isn’t.

Writing fiction is a bold and brave thing to do. You have to stand up to the critics in your home and school AND the critics in your head and tell them to shush. You have to believe that you have permission from the Universe to create. You have to be willing to fail, mess up, make mistakes, go down the wrong path, be confused, feel inadequate, and then still sit down and … you know … write.

I promise you that every self-doubt you’ve had, I’ve had. Every procrastination tool you’ve tried, I perfected. The struggles that you are going through with your book are exactly the struggles I am going through. All writers climb the same mountains.

It doesn’t matter how many books I’ve had published. I have never before written the book I am writing today. It is hard and sometimes frustrating, but I know the aggravation is worth it. I stumble and mutter and cross things out and have flashes of inspiration and ignore the nasty doubts and keep writing.

You can do this, too.

Because we are writers, and writers, you know… write.

Baraior My Honey Again

Okay, another funny picture with the tiger in it.

This one isn’t has funny, but it still made me laugh really hard. You’re having an intense conversation, and suddenly the tiger appears and sticks his head between them. Just so funny!
