Well, since I had requested Grandma read The Host book, she has requested that I read one of her favorites. It’s called A Voice in the Wind by Francine Rivers. It’s the first book of the Mark of the Lion series. Three altogether. I’ve only read the first three chapters, but it’s okay so far. Kind of slow in the beginning. Grandma said it will pick up.
This is the original cover for the book:

But this is my favorite of all the different covers they’ve made for the book:

The one I got from the library is just a plain blue cover with the title and the authors name. I couldn’t find a picture of it. I guess it’s not a wind used one. Though, it’s paper back, I don’t know if these other two are for hardback or not.
Plot, taken from Wiki
It is the story of a young Christian-Jewish slave named Hadassah living under the Roman Empire. When Hadassah is captured by Roman soldiers, her entire family is killed. She serves as a slave to a spoiled young Roman woman named Julia. Although Julia initially dislikes Hadassah because of her plain appearance, she comes to trust her. Hadassah is faithful and kind but afraid of many things. As the story progresses, she gains the courage to tell others about her faith and the God that she serves.
